You will need:
- stool;
- insulating tape or masking tape;
- blue and white-gray paint;
- sandpaper;
- vinyl sheet (optional);
- twine (optional).
- To begin with, treat the stool with sandpaper so that new layers of paint will look better.
- Cover the stool in several layers with paint mixed with water (in a ratio of 1 to 2). After the paint dries (it will take a few minutes), treat the stool a little bit with sandpaper to create a slightly aged effect.
- Next, you need to stick strips of insulating tape parallel to each other. To make the stripes smoother, measure the distances so that they are the same.
- Cover the strips with 2 layers of blue paint. Allow the paint to dry completely, and then remove the tape.
- If desired, the legs can be partially wrapped with twine. Secure it with glue.
- Optionally, cut out the anchor from a gray vinyl sheet and glue it to the top of the stool.
